This movie (I think) was supposed to be set in Pittsburgh (name references, McKees Rock, CMU), but it obviously wasn't filmed here

Looked NOTHING like Pittsburgh, not even close

What if this is As Good As It Gets?

The pizza place number has 215 as area code. Area code 215 corresponds to Philadelphia

It was filmed in East Vancouver. Some of the house shots you can clearly see the harbor and the port, as far as I know.. Pittsburgh and Phillie don't have a harbor....

The end of the world doesn't seem so bad now that you're here.

Philadelphia...in the Trial they say "the Commonwealth.." and Pennsilvania is a Commonwealth, not a State

I can always tell when a movie has been filmed in BC, the scenery is unmistakable from anywhere else in North America. Vancouver harbour and the mountain ranges of the North Shore.

Yes Vancouver, the scene where Michelle and Ashton are walking uphill on a sidewalk is one door down from my parents home on McGill St. where I grew up. I've walked over that sidewalk maybe 10,000 times. If I'd only known then that one of the most beautiful actresses ever would walk there one day, I would've gotten down and kissed the ground. Ashton in his chicken costume is on Granville St downtown.
