No the bandwagon of acting like you care for other people when in actuality you're only doing this as a publicity stunt.
Usually, the people who do the most good and help out the most are the same people who don't want recognition for their work. It seems like every time a celebrity begins to act charitable, they spend more time in front of the camera talking about how fantastic they are for helping these impoverished people instead of actually helping them.

I never said Madonna was the only celebrity out there to try to use these publicity stunts. Let's see...Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton (anyone remember her laughable speech on Larry King after getting out of jail?). Sure Madonna doesn't need any more publicity. You're right about that. But it bothers me to no end when these celebrities try to pass themselves off as caring and humane people when in reality all they care about is the fact that they are getting their faces thrown up all over the place.
The real heroes are the every day people who do acts of kindness not for recognition, but simply to help others. There is no such thing as making a profit from a charitable action.
