I AM SO ANGERY! I just watched it. I was told it was a love story...

Spoilers!

So this is all about a great couple getting manipulated by a tranny into nearly killing each-other,, OKAY so theres alot more to it than that, but I am warning u that this is not a love story, and its not something that'll make u feel happy. Its just overly dramatic and ridiculous. However it was a good quality, film. I guess they money when they made it, but just be careful going into it.

Actually, if Marcel hadn't acted like such a jackass when April/Cole first moved in, there wouldn't have been any manipulation. The whole mess was Marcel's fault, not April/Cole's.

reply

It was all of their faults.

You've seriously got to be kidding me. Marcel's fault? I think not! Marcel was true to his relationship with Kyle while Kyle was completely willing to fall for every dirty cheap trick April/Cole wanted to play. April/Cole directed the relationship completely, manipulated Kyle like an ever-so-willing sock puppet. It became so bad that towards the end of the movie there were absolutely no redeeming qualities of either sibling and the viewers' hearts can only feel for Marcel.

We're led to believe that Kyle was just so stupid and blind to willingly allow his brother/sister to completely destroy his relationship. Kyle was supposed to be an artist though, one who wrote love songs to Marcel and sang them on stage, so you'd think that he might have at least a fleeting understanding and appreciation for love. However he was all-too-willing to toss it all away for the extremely selfish motives of April/Cole, when anyone with half a brain should have been able to see through his/her charade quite easily. It wasn't until the end of the movie where the IMS is hauling Marcel off that Kyle finally sees the light but unfortunately is too stupid to look before running out into traffic.

I'm sorry this movie could have been SO MUCH BETTER. The actors were good, there were interesting elements of relationship dynamics at the beginning of the movie, then the director just threw it all away and lost his mind. I really tried to like this movie but unfortunately it completely fails as a love story as only Marcel seemed to understand anything at all about love. It then fails as a good story because there are no redeeming qualities shown of Kyle and his brother until it is entirely too late - I hated their characters with a passion.

when april first moved in? bitch was living there for two months expecting them to cover all her costs. If anything she was taking advantage of her brother because she couldn't be assed being responsible for herself. If we were a biological female she's more than likely have been a welfare cheat popping out babies instead of getting a job.

!!!!!Spoilers!!!!!

Really April/Cole didn't like Marcel to begin with. April/Cole felt that Marcel took Kyle away and Kyle was the only person April/Cole could trust. April/Cole just used her/his power over Kyle to make Kyle hate Marcel. Sadly in the end, Kyle, the man in the middle, was taken away from both of them. I was gutted at the end because when I was watching it I thought that Kyle finally figured out that April/Cole wasn't the best person to be with, Even if he was his brother and the only family he had.

I have to agree with wrestlemaniac it was all April/Cole's fault. Its the saddest movie I've seen in awhile.

reply

I also agree with wrestlemaniac55. It was April/Cole's fault.

I watched the movie a 2nd time and you can see things differently knowing the ending. I think it was a great movie and I am going to buy it soon. It is very true to life. I have seen this happen to relationships before with my friends. People get caught up in the emotions of the events and can't look at what is going on from 6 months in the past. That only happens in the movies.

This is a very realistic love story .Every gay couple in relationship should see this.
Damon doesn't have feeling .His forte is cheating and homewrecking .

To be honest very early on I was expecting April to have romantic feelings for her brother, then when the transition to Cole happened (even though it was due to the breast/scar tissue) that a scene where Cole makes a move and said something like "I'm a boy now" was going to happen because it was very obvious there was something very very screwed up with that character.

I watched this movie for the first time last weekend. I was gutted...ruined my weekend. I kept going,"Damn, it's just a movie," but I couldn't stop thinking about it and hating Cole. I really thought the worst that would happen was that Marcel and Kyle would break up forever but...Wow. So sad.
I have since ordered the movie from Amazon and have watched it again, minus the last few minutes of course.

This movie made me want to puke, it disgusted me so much. This was by FAR one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

The worst part was that it was well done, it wasn't just some stupid movie with bad acting, the fact that it was well done just made it so much worse.

I hope terrible things happen to all of the characters (not the actors, they did a great job) but the characters. The way they treated Marcel was awful.

The bad people won (April/Cole) or died/was mangled (?) (Kyle), and the only good character who I wanted to see have a happy ending was deported.

Awful, awful movie.

Angry?, I am absolutely fuming. I have kind of got used to the people who make gay movies not having the balls to be brave and actually give us a positive ending but the ending of this made me angrier than I have ever been watching a gay movie. I wont be watching this piece of utter rubbish again.

Surely Kyle could have realised earlier what an utter piece of *beep* April/Cole was and how he/she was manipulating the situation, perhaps giving time for some sort of positive resolution.

Who do I contact to get the last 97 minutes of my life back?
