I tried...

...But I did not understand half of what was going on in this movie.

What happened at the end? Did Elvis kill himself?

And was he gay for Carty? Is that the whole point of this film?

Liam Boyles' acting was pretty amazing in this movie but everything else kind of felt like it was sticky taped together at the last minute.

I have to agree with you. I thought the film was very weak.

I think Elvis did kill himself but im not really sure why, but he was sugessting throughout the film about killing himself.

I just didn't understand it. Very strange film!

It is so obvious!!
Elvis was gay for Carty... he was possessive of Carty, shied away from the blonde girl they brought back to the flat.

And Elvis jumped off the bridge. It was implied, since in one scene he is sitting on it, and in the next he jumps.
I also think the use of Joy Division near the second half was pretty good too...Since their lead singer Ian Curtis committed suicide- by hanging himself. And Elvis had a noose in his 'flat'.
Also the songs of joy division used in this film were some of the more depressing ones and used in conjunction with Elvis.

Elvis liked Carty, that's what his 'confession' in the church was. He didn't have the guts to say it to his face, so he said it in a booth and in third person- he was high too. And Elvis said Carty knew... so I'm guessing either Carty is uber-daft or he just ignored it.

good movie, he commited suicide, and also at the end I think the guy who near the start had tried to steal the jacket got his own back with the knife as carty no longer had anyone backing him up.
