Never got the BIG NAMES

The sad thing about this show was the way most A-listers seemed to avoid it. Bonnie was always courteous and charming towards whoever she had as her guest- which most often seemed to be reality show personalities like Phil Koeghan and "The Real Housewives of Atlanta". Why even today for her final show the big guests were Holly Robinson-Peete from "Celebrity Apprentice" and Brody Jenner from "The Hills". Quite suprisingly too as during her film career Bonnie had worked with the likes of Steve Martin as well as the Toms Hanks and Cruise, but would one of these guys (who'd all had movies opening during "TBHS"'s run) make the time to swing by to promote their flicks? Letterman, Leno, Conan, sure. But for some reason they just never had time to do Bonnie's show. So strange, not to mention sad as their parcipitation might well have made the difference that would have helped keep this funny little show running.

Like I said two years ago, "WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?".

The people on her show were never anyone of interest. Just a bunch of Z-listers and has-beens.

Well, you know Bonnie's show was a syndicated daytime talk show. Of course it's not going to have the big names the nighttime shows do-- or even the network-run daytime shows like Regis & Kelly and the View. But you can't say she "never got the big names." Here are some of the big names she had on the show:

Robin Williams
Tim Allen
Richard Gere
Brian Williams
Brendan Fraser
Billy Bob Thornton
James Cameron
Mark Harmon

Well I'm sure you're right about it being more difficult to get big name guests for a syndicated show; Ellen being the exception that proves the norm. Still though, can't believe Tom Hanks didn't make an effort to come by and give her a ratings a boost once in a while. That really surprised me.
