depiction of real life

happened to watch this movie today. a good performance from a young protagonist and an interesting film. very reminiscent of 'le temps des gitanes' in terms of subject matter. i did not particular enjoy the caricatural depiction of a rich spoilt german girl (it does not need to be so obvious) but that's just film for you. i would like a film to show what we should do as citizens to help deal with this situation. i think that very harsh penalties should be applied to the bosses who treat helpless people inhumanely simply because they class them as 'immigrants.'
we are all prejudiced (due to fear) against this new wave of beggars and i am just not sure we know what to do with this..
