Was this the worst movie I have ever seen?.

I recently bought the DVD for this movie from my local supermarket as it was in their bargain bin and Michael Gross was in it. Would his role be another classic one like Burt Gummer-sadly no. This was the worst movie I have ever seen, and I unclude In the name of the King in that. The only redeeming bit in the entire film was the wonderfully tiny black G-string worn by Marie Westbrook, under her equally skimpy skirt. For that I award 2 stars instead of the one that the film really deserves. IT'S RUBBISH.

It's the only movie I've ever given just one star. So yes, in my book it is the worst movie.

reply

Apparently you've never seen Ishtar, Starship, or Starship Troopers. You are indeed fortunate.

reply

Yes this was terrible I gave it a 1 a long with The Fourth Kind and Cold Fusion.
This needs to be in the IMDB bottom 250.

did you just imply that Starship Trooper is amongst the worst movies ever? oh I pity you

reply

No, just one of the worst I've ever seen. I'm sure there are worse movies that I didn't see.

reply

Can't have seen many then :P

Starship Troopers is actually a better movie than a lot of people realise. It may look somewhat similar to Syfy Channel garbage, but underneath all that it actually has some brains :)

Back on topic, this movie is absolutely appalling. Only reason to give it the time of day is for the unintentional laughs it provides. I'm sure some 1st year media students could do better.

An hour into the movie Starship Troopers I thought I'd walked into the wrong theater. It looked like 'The Breakfast Club' in space. Seriously, what is all this teen angst doing in a movie adaption of Robert Heinlein's Starship Troopers? Follow that up with the ridiculous scenes of fighting the giant alien bugs with weapons that can't hurt them and 'Doogie Howser' as the chief future nazi and you have the recipe for one of the biggest letdowns/disappointments I've ever seen. I wish I'd walked out on it.

Watch the movie Sand....ugh...a fat Emilio Estevez, Norman Reedus' hair keeps changing from being filmed at various times throughout the year. It's like they were drunk on several vacations and said..."Let's make a movie at Emilio's Beach house! More vodka and Red Bull for everyone!"
Kari Whore (Whurer...Wuhrer...no...whore sounds good..) was in it, so I guess she's eye candy for the guys. I thought it would be good because Michael Vartan was in it....but it was SO...SO...BAD...!

Whilst I agree this is terrible, horrible film, I'd still watch it any day over (shudders at having to type the word) MAMMA MIA which I find VASTLY more tormenting. That's how much I hate mamma mia.

I have no way of knowing if you've ever seen:
• Ishtar
• Tremors 2, Tremors 3, Tremors 4, .....
• [the Asylum's sequel to their own production of "War of the Worlds"]
• [a long list of "Sy-Fy Channel [OVERLY] Original Movies"]

I remember when Cleopatra went to the Temple of Ra to lead a few cheers.

And, again, just because you had to start a NEW "this is the worst..." thread.

Someone (is it you?) says this about every film.
This time you may be correct, but, really, pick your targets.
This is like bullying the REALLY weak kid on the playground.

Perhaps the OP just wants to reach out for some sense of community.
