Why are they speaking Hebrew?
At the time of creation of the State of Israel people spoke mainly Yiddish (European Jewish language) and Hebrew was an ancient language that nobody knew and that was brought back by linguists later on.
You can even dig out old videos on Youtube of David Ben Gurion (first PM of Israel) speaking Yiddish when announcing the creation of Israel.
Why is this being omitted in the movie? It loses the authenticity/ reality of what went on...
