from the moment the film started toward its end i felt that this should have been another american pie, the virgin dude who wants to get laid, the annoying older brother who could easily have been another stifler, etc.

Actually, it shouldn't. Because A] this was funny, and B] it didn't have a Stifler. Oh, and this is actually funny. Unlike all Pie films that came after Pie 2.
