Not quite what I expected
I watched this film over the weekend, and from all I'd read about the movie, I was led to believe that this was going to be a hard-boiled action/drama with gay male leads. But the action in the film is minimal. There is more time spent on being moody and atmospheric than on plot. The overly-sweet theme song wears out its welcome pretty early on. It's a real shame too, because the two leads were great. If only they could have been part of a better story and a better script, this film could have been fantastic. This movie is very pleasing aesthetically, but I just think sometimes directors get a little too caught up in their visuals and pay little attention to story.
Sister, when I've raised hell, you'll know it!
