...have just completed the soundtrack to their second Claire Denis film of the year. The film, "White Material", will be premiered at the Venice Film Festival on 6 September - http://www.labiennale.org/en/cinema

They are. Yes!

And Isabelle Huppert's photo in the FT, in print, for the review of this movie was beyond that: seriously arresting. Haunting!

Her work with this band is great. Their music is sublime. Together with her films it backs a punch that staggers watchers.

Excellent soundtrack. It has a slight Marricone/Spaghetti Western tinge to it. Nicely done.

um, they've done music for more than 2 denis films...nenette & boni, trouble every day, the intruder, 35 shots of rum and white material

Someone know where can I find the music that the Tindersticks composed for Denis' films?

there is a box set to be released with the music for all the films they have done for Denis. you can search pitchfork.com for the release news.

That is the second greatest news I've heard all week!!! After hearing about Radiohead's new album being released digitally next saturday, that is.

Just bought the music off of Itunes. Simply breathtaking, beautiful. I love the Tindersticks ever since their song "running wild" was on the next to the last Sopranos episode. Great group. Watching the movie on Netflix today sometime.
