American Airlines?

The airplane that Toni and Julia are supposedly flying on is an American Airlines airplane. Why would they be flying AA from Germany to Italy? A serious plothole here!

Why wouldn't they???
Got to American Airline's homepage... you can book flights from Germany to Italy (let's say Frankfurt-Rome). And if it's the flight that's either cheaper or the departure time is the most appropreate - why on Earth shouldn't they use AA? Europeans (in contrast what most Americans think) are not anti-American :)

Are you serious???

As you have probably noticed in the title, American Airlines is an airline that fly to/from and within the United States. If they were truly flying AA they would have to transfer in the US!!

Germany -> United States
transfer
United States -> Italy

How on earth would that be cheaper or more time-saving than any of the XXX European airlines that fly directly between Germany and Italy?

Remember that the target group for this production were germans. You can pretty much ask any german what airline he would recommend for a trip to Italy and I guarantee you it will not be AA. Not because he is anti-american. But because of the large amount of known airlines that fly there directly, such as Lufthansa, Alitalia, AirBerlin, easyJet, Ryanair, Germanwings, Condor etc etc...
