Funniest: Girl and Werewolf

Did anyone find it kind of strange for a guy his age to try to woo a girl from high school? I'm sure it does happen, but normally, most guys don't hit on girls that young. I just checked his profile, and he must of been 34 or 33 when making the film...so how old was the character supposed to be?? And how old was she supposed to be? I'm sure many people could find this comical. I want to know your opinion (or, of course, jokes).

What...he's scared of girls his age? Or maybe he dropped out of high school and never (mentally) aged past 15 years old.

If he is scared of girls his age, he must be some big wussy. Imagine him acting all cool and confident around young girls, but when it comes to the real adult world, he's just a big loser.

If you remember,he believed the girl to be his"mate"from long ago and that is why he went after her the way he did. Age-wise,I believe he was supposed to be far older than he looked. Werewolves can retain a youthful look in their human form. The only thing that can kill them, supposedly,is a silver bullet. In the movie, though,he was killed by a gun barrel which the girl shot from her bow into his mouth.

Good point.

What I want to know is why can't the werewolf ever win? Just once? He needs love too!

They said in the movie that werewolves live forever. And when he talked about his long dead girlfriend he said that Loren was about the same age as the dead girlfriend was when she died. So that would be around 17 since Loren was in high school. He also said that in those days girls of that age would already be married and having kids, so that would put it back into the early 1900s or earlier. So taking all that together, I would guess he was at least 100 years old.

As far as killing werewolves. The movie said you needed silver to kill them, not silver bullets. The gun barrel she shoot him with was silver plated, so it was perfectly capable of killing him.

What a lot of people seem to forget when watching creature movies, is that almost every one of them uses their own slight twist on the "classic" myth. Whether the movie is about werewolves, vampires, zombies or some other creature, each film usually changes a few parts of the myth either to just be different or to fit some part of the script. Like in this one where the werewolf was able to change anytime he wanted to by using a charm made of the neck skin of a criminal that was hung. I never heard that myth before but for certain parts of this movie he had to change when there wasn't a full moon, so they added their own part to the myth.
