Your thoughts on the ending *spoilers obviously*

These are my thoughts on the ending:



Everyone got out of the water, I saw Rawlings, and thought "Yeah, I knew he'd come with us, that'd be evil of the game to jack my second healer at the final boss fight."



Cole said something about the Firstborn coming out of that tunnel and it did. It said "And after I have absorbed your power, I will finally have enough to break free of this prison! Now, COME TO ME!" Then Cole goes: "Sir! I believe he's going to channel our powers against us, however if you're currently in possession of_"



Now, I saw the underscore at the end because I had the subtitles on, so I knew she was going to get cut off. I thought "What? The Firstborn's gonna scream or some-"



"SILENCE B****!"



And then electricity suddenly came out of nowhere and Jones exploded. My mind just locked up. I sat there in stunned silence for a second or two as it happened. Then I thought "Wait! It must be an illusion! The Firstborns playing with my mind!"



and then Cole exploded.

"It's just a hallucination. It's not real. It's just a-"




*Cole's torso flies past*




"OMFG WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS GAME! I NEEDED THEM!"



then the battle started and I just panicked. I just kept firing Abbey's gun at it and trying to snipe it. I eventually got it down though and won.




But wow, I'll never forget them just exploding like that. I mean, I liked their characters, and while I didn't use Jones much, I liked using Cole and planned on using her powers this battle, so that was the biggest "WTF??" moment of the game for me. Well, at least it happened at the very end, unlike some games I've played where it happens way earlier.




Also, if there really is going to be a Jericho trilogy (highly doubt it) I wonder what they'll do with their characters? Cuz like, I liked having someone who can freeze time :(
