I dont think when a man really cries is sick, weak, or submissive. Not if its real and its pure emotions. What the character went through was more than enough to cry about. Im actually surprised that he didnt cry more.

I think you should get over yourself and stop hiding your insecurities. Its okay for men to cry for the right reasons and he didnt cry enough in the movie. If you didnt like the movie you dont have to see it. I find it intellectual, original, and refreshing.

I do agree that people that cry too much really need to build up some emotional strength, but to deny a man a cry in certain situations (that rarely occur anyway) is to beg for the suicide rate to jump

I think it's ok for a man to cry, but only when he stubs his toe or hits his thumb with a hammer, I mean, that *beep* really hurts!
