Marc Warren = yawn

Firstly, whoever decided to make a Messiah in the 1st instance with Ken & Crew needs sacked - bad idea.
Stott & cast made it what it was - a fantastic, gripping drama.
Secondly, whoever case Marc Warren as the lead character should go with the 1st guy - lacked tension, emotion, screen presence, excitment.....i could go on but i think you get the point.
He is not a leading actor & did absolutely nothing to make this 2 part drama interesting. It bored me to tears & his attempt to hold centre stage was laughable. I've never seen him act before & never wish to again.

Totally agree. I was determined to give this a go but it was awful! I won't bother the next time - if there is another one with this cast.

i totally agree, what a waste of time..............messiah is stott and the rest, also warren looked as though he couldnt be bothered, no tension or drama so mixed up and bitty, and so obvious whodunnit, please bring back the old team or let sleeping dogs lie

I agree. I think Marc Warren is a dreadful actor anyway and having him in this crap showed us even more how Ken Stott & the gang are amazing actors. The story was nonsense and boring. But if you think MW was crap in this, check him out in Dracula- dirge, the casting director must have been having a laugh
