Amusing

Ok, so it wasn't the best zombie movie ever made but it certainly wasn't the worst. It had plenty of gore and a few laughs as well. Anyone going in with expectations that it was huge budget or oscar caliber is gonna be disappointed, but anyone who likes cheesy movies for *beep* and giggles will enjoy it for what it is.

That's the downside to the state of media these days. Independent filmmakers and people just starting out can get films out there that were made on a shoestring budget.... that's awesome. The problem is, people that haven't normally been exposed to movies of that caliber see them on Netflix or in Wal Mart and think they're going to be made with the same budget as Transformers or whatever crap they saw in the theater that week. Then they get it home, turn it on, and say "OMG this movie is horrible!!!! It didn't have multimillion dollar effects, Vin Diesel, or anything!!"

A bad script has nothing to do with a budget, and that is what this movie had. It had some good ideas, but bad execution and a poorly done script with bad humor and politically correct stereotypes.

That has NOTHING to do with budget, so stop using that to excuse mediocrity!

It has a crap script!

Nobody was complaining about it not having a "multimillion dollar effects" or whatever else you are babbling about!

The real problem in this case is that talentless hacks can now make bad films.
