Unappreciated and Ignored

This movie was fantastic. It was well written, extremely well acted and a great story! - why it wasn't nominated for the big awards is beyond me. Maria Bello, Blake Lively and especially Robin Wright have amazing performances. It's a shame movies like this go ignored because they're not huge box office releases or hits.

Agreed! I enjoyed it the first time I saw it and I still do.

Only a 6.4?! I gave this movie a 10. I really fell in love with it. Don't know how others can just dismiss it.

I'm late to take it in but I agree 100%. It was a fantastic relatable movie. A chick flick. A movie that only females can relate to. Especially mothers. I think that's why it was passed up. I'm 34, divorced for a year after being cheated on tons, and alrhough my kids are still Tots, I could completely relate to this. I think my daughters going to end up like hers. She's going to hate me. Only because she'll be filled with jealousy as a teen because she's built like her daddies linebacker puffy cheeked side, rather than my sides slender athletic skinny genes. My son is all my side. I know she's eventually going to hate us and throw her build in my face because I couldn't genetically engineer her. That's something they'll offer when they're of reproductive age. They'll never understand it takes black labs and billions right now

I’m a guy and I absolutely loved this movie. I think there’s a bias against low budget movies. If something is not full of special effects, CGI, shiny explosions, or fancy international locales, audiences feel they’re not getting their money’s worth. This movie is clever, has smart dialogue, believable characters, and superb acting.
