I wanted to see this but I'm afraid it will be similar to...

'Rachel Getting Married' which was truly horrific. I only want to see it for Winon Ryder but her role doesn't even seem to be big, is it?

I never miss a Robin Wright movie. She never dissapoints and she didn't this time either. Someone wrote that she seems depressed and sad in her movies, but that is the roles she plays so well. I was worried that Blake Lively would be the main character, but she wasn't though she did a great job. Winona may have had a small role but did a great job (though she is scary skinny). The only thing that threw me off was the kids were sooo ugly and Keneau is getting too much botox in his face and he doesn't look natural. Robin is allowing herself to age which is so nice to see instead of these plastic faces u see on other actors. Recommend another Robin movie call "Sorry, Haters".

You're not writing a dissertation so I wouldn't worry about how you "write" on this or any other message board. I highly recommend this film. And I agree "Rachel" was terrible. Great cast, great acting with this one though.

Haven't seen "Rachel Getting Married", but I will say that I really liked this movie...even if I didn't exactly know what I was getting into. I'm not one to compare movies, but if I had to, I'd liken "Pippa Lee" to "Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood" - if only because of the amount of dysfunction and mental instability in Pippa's family!

Winona Ryder has a supporting role, but she's given a good amount of screen time as Pippa's friend. I won't give you any further detail... for risk of spoiling it.

I haven't seen that. I didn't care for this movie, and I usually like Robin Wright. Winona's part is very small and kind of stupid, in my opinion. She's a young woman having a fling with a much older married man, and her character isn't fleshed out in the least.
