Ummmm, broken glass?

All over the bathroom floor and nobody figured it out?

This will be the high point of my day; it's all downhill from here.

OK, I'll bite. What were we supposed to figure out from that?

That you could use it to cut the duct tape???

What I found even more surprising was that they never thought of REMOVING the duct tape, as Louises hands were a little free. She could easily have removed (or at least tried) the duct tape on the toilet as the toilet had a blank surface.
And later when Sara came in, her hands were even more free, she could move her fingers a little.
And then the broken glass. Not to talk about all that stuff in the bathroom that would have helped cutting or removing the duct tape.
When I watch the movie and is annoyed all along by those things, how can I enjoy it?

I realise it's a black comedy, but it is possible to smarten it up!

Well Louise did not have her fingers free to do that, for one thing. Secondly, she set the whole thing up so obviously she is not going to try hard to do anything. Third, the girlfriend may have had a few fingers slightly freed up but with her hands taped together and no access to her thumbs how the heck is she going to pick up glass and saw through duct tape?! Which frankly isn't the easiest stuff to cut through even with scissors.

All of these factors and nobody figured any of THAT out? lol
