The editing in this movie killed it for me.

One after another. A character would say something to another character....on to the next scene. Everyone's sitting around eating.....on to the next scene. Hardly any of the scenes had substance. They seemed to be there as filler. It's as if the story of the brothers would have only worked as a short film. This made for a very boring movie that meant absolutely nothing when the end credits rolled. I wasn't expecting a high-powered shoot em up kind of movie full of action, but damn! When you have a movie that is over an hour and a half long and only about 15 minutes of it stand out, your film has missed its mark.

Is it any better than You Can Count on Me? The opinions you posted were very similar to how I feel about that movie.

Any society that would give up liberty to gain security will deserve neither and lose both.

I totally agree! I only was able to get into this movie after the first 30 minutes. The start was all over the place and throw away.

It was a bore but the acting was pretty good.
