Budget?
Anyone know how much this film cost to make? (Before it got picked up by studio/production company).
shareI saw this at the LA film festival last year and the director was there talking about it. Essentially he made this thing for nothing, completely "do it yourself". Only thing is he had a connection to a nice camera that he got to use for it, somewhere around four thousand I think. He didn't get into specifics about cost but it was self-financed for very little, I know that.
It's also very good by the way. One of the better films I saw there.
Jenkins is apparently keeping the budget a secret deliberately*, but he said in one interview the production budget was about the same as the cost of a new Nissan Sentra.**
