'You won't believe how it ends.'

That's what the poster for the movie says, but ironically I think this one has had the weakest ending for far. I am sick and so my brain is dead, but did I miss the twist at the end? B/c it doesn't look like this movies has one.

Yeah, the PR-department was probably drunk when they came up with that.

Yup... but at that point, SAW was pretty much known for always having awesome twist endings. Shame they couldn't come up with something more imaginative. Or maybe it's an ironic tagline.

This is indeed one of the weakest twist of the saw movies and it is one that I saw coming a mile away.

I think they were referencing the fact that the crushing room Strahm was in actually closed in on and killed him. Typically, scenes like that always end with the person finding a clever way out of it, but this time, it actually crushed him. I thought that was pretty crazy, especially when I first saw it.

Yeah Saw V-VI contain no twists comparing to other saw movies, we got used to see some of the greatest twists of all time (especially I-II-III)

reply

no it's not a weak ending, it's very amazing, but no one can cure stupid people.

Best ending of the series for me!

The original ending was removed from film. All we know about how it was going to end was that Jill's box originally contained details for her to confront Hoffman after he had killed Strahm. Originally Jill was the one behind the 'I Know Who You Are' notes, not Dr Gordon.

I remember seeing the poster in Boston one day back then and feeling really ripped off. Not terrible for a SAW movie, but that was like when Jason took "Manhattan"
