Haha! Strahm somehow has Hoffman's Flashback

When investigating the jigsaw crime scene where Hoffman's sister's ex-boyfriend murderer (sigh) was murdered. It's pretty funny.

Edit: Actually this happens multiple times within the film! This can't be information gleaned from Strahm's investigation as contextually it has nothing to do with the stuff he is finding, yet after every 'flashback' Strahm goes: 'Aha! That's how you did it!" and dropping the vague evidence he has just discovered and following bread crumbs FROM THE FREAKING FLASHBACKS HE CAN'T BE HAVING to the next FLASHBACK TRIGGER.

Strahm has psychic powers! It's hysterical.

Well we don't hear Strahm's thoughts but he's coming to his own conclusions based on what he remembers/facts. For example , in the Seth trap area after going into the other room (or if it was before) He says something like "you watched" , We see a pov through the hole of Seth looking at the hole, but Strahm remembers the angle of his face in the murder photos , so he could conclude that in Seth's final moments he was looking at the hole.

Well, Strahm already knew Hoffman was a psycho. Any sane person would have noticed that. Besides, Hoffman actually didn't make any effort to hide that.

It wouldn't be hard putting yourself into Hoffman's shoes and imagining his hypothetical actions. The flashbacks obviously wouldn't be 100% accurate from Strahm's point of view, but they were meant to tell the audience what the hell happened ( which might be or might not be exactly what Strahm was thinking ).

Good Points.

Actually you're just misunderstanding the scene... he's thinking like a cop, which means he's walking around the crime scene, figuring it out, and imagining how it all went down. He's not psychic.
