Why not use a corpse's blood in the final trap room?????????

So wait... in the final trap room, where they had to stick their arms into the saws to fill the beaker with blood to escape the room, why didn't they just go back and bring in a dead body from an earlier room and stick their arms/legs in the machine instead of theirs??? The previous room's door was not closed, as after they saw the trap they went back into that room (when they discussed that each trap was designated for 5 people), and they already knew how to play that game before they started it, so bring the dead black girl back in with you and shove her limbs in the machine!!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering the same thing. I guess they realized that they should all be working together at that point that they didn't think of that as an option.

I thought the same thing. My only guess is maybe her body was so fried they couldn't get too much blood from it. Also, I think the door did eventually close.

no, go back and watch again, that door closed. They were not given the "rules" of the final test until the door was already closed and it was too late. I mean, yeah they could've guessed the final test and grabbed her body, but if they removed the last body it would've detached the electric currents and sealed that door meaning they would be locked in the bathtub room forever.

Nope. The trap was made so they could all have survived. So it could also work if all of them were connected to the cables, the door then would unlock and then they would detach the cables and escape.

So detaching the cables AFTER the door is opened, wouldn't seal the door again.

I think using the dead body from the bathtub would have worked.

But with the heart no longer pumping blood, how would they get that much blood into the container using the corpse?

At least they would get some of it.

Also with the second trap they could have all fitted into one of the chambers... lol

Based on the earlier films, and the first in particular, any attempt at "cheating" or gaming the system in some way would be rejected by Jigsaw, since he or whoever happens to be his minion at the time would be watching. In this case, we're to assume Hoffman is keeping an eye on their progress and would be aware of any attempts to cheat.

However, if Hoffman was not keeping tabs on them, then they could get away with it. But being trapped in the game, they obviously would not be privy to such information and would thusly assume they are being constantly watched, in effect policing themselves out of mortal fear to such an extent that they adhere to the rules as closely as possible.
