Someone dies next week....same day as Melbourne Cup

The episode was filmed six weeks ago.

It's one of the following;

Erik Thompson (Dave Rafter)

Michael Caton (Ted)

Zoe Ventoura (Melissa)

During the shoot, the three mentioned above weren't present. And during the funeral, Ben was wearing the same suit he wore to his wedding.

I'm betting Michael Caton. It's a safe option, plus he's doing "Hot Property" on Channel Nine and his agent said he's not satisfied with working only 22 weeks a year.

Who do you think will kick the bucket?

I'm pretty sure it'll be Mel... as she would have definitely gone to the funeral with Ben if Ted had died (Ted doesn't have any sort of relationship with Mel so probably wouldn't bother going to the funeral)

Plus I heard somewhere that Mel's parents were seen filmed at the funeral

And I doubt very much they'd kill off one of the main characters (Dave)

I'm betting it's Mel as well. But thinking about it is just sad.

If that's the case, I wonder what the fallout will be like.

Sorry but in what universe would Ted not go to Mel's funeral? She is his grandson's wife!

Given that it is a "young" Rafter though it seems it could be Mel rather than Ted (who would have been the first obvious choice).

I thought it might be Angus McLaren (Nathan) but I guess Mel is likely.

Yeah, I've heard the baby (Ruby) wasn't at the funeral scenes as well.
Maybe they are going to tackle a SIDS storyline?

i don't think anyone will die.Maybe in a dream sequence one of the characters die but i don't think any will stick.The ad does say a young rafter so who knows

Its not the baby

Because the person who dies will be on sunrise

I think its Nathan because in a interview he said he will look back on his time on the show

But if its not him Mel

maybe it is Sammy?She may not be on the show anymore but she is still classed as a Rafter.I know she has anew movie out very soon so possibly that's why she is on "Sunrise".

Will be sad if it is Mel.

I'm in Brisbane so it doesn't start here for another half hour.
