I'm speechless...

After 94 torturing minutes, the movie ended, and I was stunned...I was trying to figure out: why? Why was this movie made? Ok, if it was a TV movie with unknown or washed up actors, and unknown director, I wouldn't be surprised. But why, why, WHY did the director of "Dangerous Liaisons", "Hero", "High Fidelity", and all the other great British films he made, decide to make this hollow thing? This movie was doomed to be a failure as soon as the script was printed. It costed 26 millions, and it earned 20.000 (that's twenty thousand) dollars on its opening weekend... What the hell did they expect, that this movie would make money??
Sure, I'm not a fan of gambling. It bores me. BUT, I've seen some interesting movies about it (like "Two For The Money"). I mean, maybe I wasn't crazy about them, but at least, I could watch them. But this thing here...it had absolutely no interest at all! How could someone care about these COMPLETELY indifferent characters??
And that happy ending...Oh, man...I don't know what to say, really, I can't find more words.

p.s.: I rated with 2 the movie. You'll ask me, why 2 and not 1? Well, Rebecca Hall was SO sexy in this movie. I hated her accent, but I sure didn't hate her legs! I was so excited with the first shot of the movie, where we see her sexy legs. I was "oh, yeah, this movie is gonna be interesting!". But I changed my mind about 10 minutes later...
