Damnesia Vu
Let's change gears for a second; for those that enjoy the show, I am speaking to you now.
In the episode Damnesia Vu, Xavier finds himself in a checkered tiled floor surrounded by coloured doors. I believe this is alluding to an interdimensional space in his mind. With each door he opens, he walks into another dimension (i.e. JFK's shooter's dimension, reverse dimension, 2D Mayan dimension, people into food [transformation] dimension, black & white anti-self dimension). He starts off by saying he doesn't remember his name or if he even had a name alluding to the complete dissolution of his ego. Most episodes are quite clear in the message they are trying to convey, but with this one I am having a bit of trouble understanding.
From what I understood: Xavier is shown his multidimensional self which, during the time his incarnation possesses consciousness, takes the outside world in each dimension as a real physicality and in doing so Xavier goes through different experiences to test and show him to himself, his infinite self; death is an illusion and life is a game.
Questions I still have: What's with the Quetzalcoatl allusion (ex. 2012, sun worship, Mayan sacrifice)? What's the symbolism of the food transformation dimension? ... Basically, whats the root idea of each dimension?
Anyone interested in posting their analysis of this episode or any of the alternate dimensions Xavier passes through would be greatly appreciated!
PS - I couldn't help but think this entire episode was about a Freemason ritual into higher degree's of enlightenment. Did this thought cross anyone else's mind?
