I hate how people say 'This show doesn't make any sense'...

Take a random clip of anything and it will be out of context and not make sense. Watching an entire episode makes it all come together, that is if you can comprehend thought.

Did I say I was a beacon of intelligence? No, just stating the obvious.
Also, Xaviers on AS dude. Have you noticed that every show on AS is "vile". Every show. Xavier gets the message across with humor and a social schalacking. Your opinions wrong, DERRRRRP>

it makes perfect sense to me. but i was raised on a steady diet of the absurd. and i got my schooling in absurdity by watching Wonder Showzen when it was around.

i was a WS fan since it came on. when Xavier first came on, i was totally disappointed and pissed because i didn't understand it.

after watching each episode multiple times (like more than 4-5 times), i understand it fully and pick up all the little jokes. you have to really pay attention or you going to miss alot. it's a lot of absurd, insane wordplay and craziness. it's like WS on crack. which is pretty crazy.

you have to watch more than one episode, more than once.

i also forgot to add that every time i watch an episode over, i pick up, or hear, or see something new and hilarious.

if you notice, everytime Xavier says "can't", he's really saying Cun*.

so technically, they got away with saying the C word multiple times on the Cartoon Network. pure genius.

Deep or not deep, absurd, nonsensical, stupid or not, I don't care. I just like the "what the hell did I just watch?" feel of the cartoon. Not too many like it, and I dig it for that.

Most episodes made sense, it's just that I never found it to be funny or good really...

Tries to be random with the stories, but it just comes off with me rolling my eyes to every episode..

^^perfect example of someone who doesn't 'get' the show.

Yeah pretty much. Xavier is one of the few projects on Adult Swim that actually aims for a bit of your frontal cortex. It's satire, to be sure, but not the over-the-top mess of Robot Chicken or Superjail. (Both funny in their own right.) I like Xavier because it has this weird allegorical absurdity that few animations (or any story format) are able to pull off without seeming cynical or immature.

Basically we're going to hear the same criticism of Xavier as we did for Wonder Showzen. God Bless Adult Swim for supporting creativity that doesn't cater to Dane Cook fans!

Take for example, you showed Xavier to a hippie who takes a lot of acid, and to some plastic philistine who listens to Ke$ha and has no idea about philosophy. The latter will not get most of the metaphors and metaphysical jokes and stuff. It takes an understanding of certain concepts to get the show.

This is honestly the funniest, most refreshing show I have ever seen. It does not take anything seriously and anyone who complains is taking themselves too seriously. I was a hectic scholar for about 5 years, and honestly all those journal entries, research projects and the banter between "experts" starts to sound just like gibberish. People are so ready to write a disconnected comment here and there but how does that have a bearing on the real world - which is only as real as we make it? Peace out chompsky honks!
