this was probably the best episode of anything i have seen... as a huge fan of "dirty" anime... i was blown away by this episode ... it was hilarious and deep. im sad this show was canceled because of low ratings.. not all episodes were the best but held a few laughs that made it worth it.. but outta the carnage comes an episode like shakashuri blowdown .. i cant help with think if they had continued.. more of this would of happened
shareThe first time I witnessed "Damnesia You" this past Halloween, I immediately said to myself, "What the... I MUST see the rest of this!"
Since then, Xavier: Renegade Angel has become my all-time favorite show. The misses on this ride were SO worth the hits. Some people complain that the show gets somehow less entertaining when it tries to be a higher form of art, but I disagree. I applaud PFFR and everyone involved with the making of this unique series because I feel we need people to keep pushing the boundaries of what television can be.
I completely agree, rxyvenn. Season 1 only got more and more amazing as it went on, and peaked at the final episode. Season 2, while certainly appreciated, kind of had it's pacing off, with all the great lines not given enough time to simmer. "Shakashuri Blowdown" is indeed pure bliss.
