This show was horrible after season one ended. They clearly had no idea what to do with it, and in the end, it lasted at least a season too long.

This movie was unnecessary to say the least, and I feel sorry for the actors who had to participate in filming it. No wonder Peter Stormare (Abruzzi)wanted out in season one, he's an accomplished actor who knew where it was heading and got out before it became a joke. The problem is, his presence was one of the things that made the show watchable. It could have been a great 3-season show. Unfortunately, senseless writing and a seeming loss of direction in the storytelling made it unwatchable.

it would have been great had they changed the last 15 or so minutes of the 2nd season to them getting on the boat with the money, sailing away and doing what they plan to the whole series.

Yeah. And Michael should have had the tattoos the entire time. Self should have never been in the show, the General was a waste. They lost their way and when they tried to make it up, they quality suffered. The same thing has happened with LOST and Heroes.

true, but the first season is amazing on its own. You can't say the same for LOST.

At first, the show was only intended for one short season. Then it went a full 22-episode season with it's increasing popularity. Then they decided "We should show one season were they're running also" about halfway through the first, and it became two seasons. During the course of the second season, noticing they didn't loose the viewership, they extended it even more.

I think the show would've been better if they knew they were going for 4 seasons from the get go.
Cause I just wathced season 1 again, and there are REALLY many inconsistencies. Continuty errors like Michael's mother having a liver tumour instead of the brain and many others.

But it never stopped being intense. I think it was pretty good entertainment though it lacked substance except for the Mahone character after half of season 2.
