Mahone and Felicia story missing....?

In the season finale, it showed Mahone and Felicia kissing after Mahone mails his ex-wife Pam a birthday card or something. That really caught me by suprise on the finale, so of course I was pretty intrigued and excited to find out about that in the "Final Break" dvd. Gotta say, although the dvd wasnt terrible, I am pretty bummed none of that was shown. Also, no LJ again? Missing from the series finale as well as the strait to dvd movie? Anyone know whats up with that?

I was disappointed, too. I was hoping that Mahone and Felicia's story would be told. That would have helped to lighten up the story since everything else was so dark and sad.

I missed LJ and Sophia, too.

The deleted scene "alex and pam in the market" on the DVD helps a little bit.

Alex approaches pam having in a street market having just got back to the US to tell her that he is back and has an appointment to get his job back.

She looks surprised / speachless and whilst they are talking some guy moves in and she introduces him to alex explaining that too much has happened and she has moved on.

She gives Alex a gold watch that she found with something like "comemorating 10 years of service" engraved on the back, clearly she has carried this with her every time she has gone shopping just in case!!

I was really surprised this scene got deleted as i found it odd that Pam was the only thing he cared about and then he was with someone else.

I watched the series on DVD so in a condensed time frame. When you watch it like that, it is easier to see the Mahone Lang thing being telegraphed from early on. I like Pam, but I'm so glad they didn't put her back with Alex. There's just so many hours of therapy any couple can take. They did all they could do for each other when Mahone got Wyatt to call Pam and apologize. Alex is a way different person than the guy she married or even the one she divorced. She doesn't want the latter and there's no way he can go back to being the former.

I'm going to hold out for another PB movie where we get to see Alex Mahone in those missing four years. I liked that he ended up with Felicia, but I also like that he is still on good terms with Pam.
