fox cancels spin off plan officially

“We wanted to end the show after 16 episodes this season and not bring it back for six additional episodes. That was the plan. There was pressure put on us by our studio to make an additional 6 episodes. We at the network said that we could not bring the show back on Monday and that we would have to find a place for them on another night and that would be an insult to the fans. It was not our intent to make the six additional episodes.

Finally when we agreed to the additional 6 we were not aware of another two hour “finale” that the studio decided to make.

We told them we had a plan for the final 6 episodes and did not need another two hours and to be honest we do not plan on airing it. I can tell you that the six hours that we air in April and May will have a conclusion and that the additional two hours will not further the story beyond the conclusion that will air on FOX.”-Preston Beckman of FOX

thank god common sense prevails , noone wants to watch this daft spin off with poor writing ,and stupid characters like gretchen who was the main reason the orinal prison break lost so many viewers and eventually got cancelled

the source for that is a message board post
and even if that is true and FOX studios made the 2 hours behind FOX TV's back that means that FOX TV never wanted those 2 hours and FOX studios want to sell it to another network so i wouldnt count on it being dead yet

Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! Take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother's eye.

That's too bad they made them make a crap 6 episodes. They felt nothing like the rest of the season and were a joke.

I just rewatched the show for 4th time counting my first when the 4 season was on the air, and there's something wrong with the episodes between the last 2 episodes (not counting TFB) and the Team getting Scylla. It's quite annoying actually, there's a lacking coherence of what the writers really wanted to do. There's also the bringing down the Company part that I didn't like, it felt cheap and forced, I liked them being in the background even if we found out more about Jonathan Krantz as the mysterious leader.

I would have preferred if Christina had survived and started up her organization but most likely failed which was Jonathan's point about keeping Scylla as the permanent cornerstone of their organization rather than just money.
