shareI have not seen The Final Break yet... but read this review which makes it sound like a pretty solid movie without having to see the whole series... especially since the reviewer says he hasn't seen all of the seasons.

shareI think you should definitely get into the series, as well. The twists and turns are too many to assume or fill in if you check out only the Final Break. If you really can't put in the time, I still think you'll enjoy the Final Break going in blind, but check out the show eventually. It's awesome how they always tie the storylines together and people's allegiances shift, etc. I can't wait to see what they do with the Finale.
shareYou will get the plot and the basics, but it will all seem very random and stupid, simply because you dont know the background. In short, dont watch it on its own.

Yeah, if you want to be half filled in on everything, and have a mediocre understanding than, by all means, watch the summary. If you want to play it smart, watch the series.
shareok. I agree. It is best to watch the whole series... but for someone that wants to watch The Final Break and has not seen the series watching the recap should be enough to understand what is going on in The Final Break... Just an option imo.
shareYeah, but why wouldn't you want to watch the show first. It's an awesome series, and watching final break first, would basically ruin the series for you.
shareWatch it because it gives a better understanding what really happened to Michael and now that Prison Break mini-series is happening it all sort of makes sense but the abrupte final episode where they all get together to go to Michael's grave almost does the same but The Final Break does better but ending is depressing compared to the one televised.
