Don't get your hopes up, kid. Shows like this usually steer clear of topics like religion, sexuality, etc.
It would be more realistic if you were hoping that for the actors, rather than the characters.

I've always thought the in-the-closet gay member of the band was Carlos. I mean he's always touching the other guys way too much and looking at them constantly. Plus he never has any chemistry with the very few girls that he was hooked up with in the show. I know those things don't mean someone is gay but my gaydar is telling me he's the one. I think years down the road he will be officially out.
