What accent was she trying to do in the film - it was like a really bad seventies sitcom accent - was she not supposed to have grown up in London??

it was suppose to be scouse, the majority of it resembled scouse but some was dodgy.

Yep; it was patchy, at best.

It's made from bits of real panther, so you know it's good...

I'm watching it now, her accent is painful. You can hear the south in it so much, seems she's mostly just rolling her r's a lot. I'd guess about only half the vowel sounds are right, it just sounds like a southerner trying to do a scouse accent, which is what it is!

In case you haven't already found out in a year, she enters the movie somewhere before the half-hour mark and has a few scenes, particularly a quick topless sex scene.
