Why wasn't there any mention of the driver after the crash?

The only mention of the driver and his actions, after the crash, was the note in the closing credits indicating reckless driving is a focus of the non-profit started in Luke's memory. Isn't it odd that there was NO mention of the circumstances involved in the crash?
