Yes. Everyone watches it the second time anyway, there's plenty to chew on

I agree.

I had a friend over who vaguely knew the story, but she enjoyed it nevertheless. The ending is open and subject to multiple interpretations anyway.

Yes, 100%!

As someone said, you will watch it more than once anyway and with each viewing you'll spot more and more every time. Hence why I'm still re-watching it in 2016...
