A 45-Minute Commercial For Boeing

The 3D at my local IMAX was incredible for this flick. I just can't get over a movie titled "Legends Of Flight" not being about the legends of flight. It's nothing of the sort. It should've been titled "787: Boeing vs Airbus."

The flying shots were great. Everything else sucked. Staged boardroom meetings, manufacturing shots, blah!

Wish I'd read this before seeing this Boeing Commercial at the Franklin Institute - what a waste of time and money. There was no sense of grandeur - being eyelevel with the guys crotch as he talked about wing design was not thrilling. A stewardess had a band-aid on her knee and it looked to be about 4 feet across. Just horrible. Longest 45 minutes i've ever spent. My first ever IMAX film - i hoped for thrilling point of view flying sequences and just saw a boeing jet.

but a band-aid on the knee looks so cool in imax!!

Golf clap? Golf clap.

I downloaded this and couldn't make it to the 20 minute mark. It was an absolute insult to the IMAX format.

You people need to get real, this was an interesting insight into the manufacturing process of the airline industry, who gives a rat's rear end that it was focused on two airlines, they're pretty much the dominant pair of companies in the industry so it makes sense. The 3D animations were fantastic, great pop out effects and the quality of the presentation was second to none. I'd love to see you lot produce a documentary, it'd be a good laugh.

Stupid comment. WE are not professional film makers. THESE people are SUPPOSED to be, and yet it sucked.

You must of been involved with the production, because no one else would stick up for this lame film.
