Your link doesnt work, but I know what you mean.

Caine recently said that the money doesnt really matter to him and that he is only taking roles that he is really interested in, no rubbish. So when he does a low budget film like this you know its going to be good, and the film is blessed with his presents.

He's said he won't come out to work anymore unless it's a film he really believes in, and that selective approach is doing his recent filmography huge favours.

After a long career of seeming to take almost any role that paid well, it's nice that his name on a poster can now be taken as a byword for quality.

That and all the Batman money helps.

I think the Batman money helps. In he past he did work a lot for money and also location, which explains Jaws:The Revenge which was filmed in Bahamas.

Its that man again!!
