How long was this in theatrical release?

The Box Office section gives a late October release but I don't recall it showing in my neck of the woods (San Diego, Irvine, Santa Barbara at the time). Was it out long or only for a couple of weeks?

I live in Michigan and I don't recall this movie showing at any local theatres near my home as well!

Looks like a good movie, I plan on renting it, whenever it comes out.

It was out in Canada the same time as in the States.

It played on "Arthouse Monday" at the local $3 theater here in Alaska, but not to a very full house, I understand.

It's in Alaska and it was probably in competition against movies like Avatar, i guess ?

I don't know if you have ever been to Alaska, but we are some of the largest consumers of media per capita for a reason. Even bad movies usually play to packed houses, especially in the winter months, as we'll do just about anything to escape the cold darkness.

Besides that, the $3 theater I mentioned is insanely popular, as it's also a local brewery, and has some of the best food in town, all of which you can consume in the theater. If you ever make it up this way, check it out.

From Box Office Mojo it officially closed on January 14.

It started at 820 screens then got bumped to 1070 screens the second week. By then the bad reviews were out (I just found the movie boring. Her life as portrayed in the movie was not all that interesting).

By the fourth week it was down to 300 odd screens. That's why no one had a chance to see it.
