Wow, that was fast!

Cause the movie stinks.

It jumps all over the place, the facts are misrepresented (drunken Noonan relationship?) and Swank's over-played (in then out)rediculously overplayed New England accent annoyed me immensly everytime she opened her yap.

I really don't believe the producers knew one thing about Amelia Earhart that they could not have learned from any little Girl Scout.

Miscasting, all the way. Richard Gere? Smiley boy?

Should've gotten the cast from, "Elizabeth".

Cate Blanchett - Amelia Earhart

Geoffrey Rush - George Putnam

Joseph Fiennes - Fred Noonan

*Just my 2 cents.

Whoa...WHOA. Hilary Swank gave a surprisingly good performance, and Richard Gere owned that role. You just have to face the facts that it's a movie and it's not going to be 100% spot on. It has to sell tickets. Were you a witness to Amelia Earhart's life? Don't think so, and even if you happen to claim to be an expert on her, I think it's very clear that the historical records of American heroes are often misconstrued. Who is to say besides Amelia herself that Nair, Bass, and Phelan had it wrong? Just chill out and stop being so critical. It was a phenomenal film.

To making it count.

Glad you liked it.

Rather disappointing. Netflix knew before IMDB when it would be released. I'd like to know where you got your info :) I've thought for the longest time that IMDB was on top of the "Movie Information Highway" LOL!

I wouldn't bother wasting your money. Really disapointing!

My Grandmother was from Kansas and she didn't sound like New England to me.

This flick should go directly to the Syfy Channel on Wednesday at 3AM right after Aliens 14: Ripley Goes to a Disco to Hatch an Egg.
