Great voice acting and great story!

Does anyone else agree?

Yep.

MERC - "Coffee, I miss coffee."
"We have coffee you jackass."
"The coffee here tastes like FEET!"

story was average and characters were cut-outs. The voice acting matched the cliche' characters. Also notice any similarities in the story with Apocalypse Now?

The story was extremely derivative, but I still felt it was fun. The voices were perfect though, I agree.
