Getting back into it
I just saw the pilot of Terra Nova and so now Im going to get back into Turok. I played it before but didn't get too far, now I am going to play it again.

Almost everyone I know who's played this game has said they quit when they got to the level "Death Valley" one guy recently said he couldn't kill the T-rex (it's actually not the T-rex, it's a Giganotosaurus) so he threw down the controller saying this game is *beep* and got rid of it. He's not the only one to have done this. I told him that he didn't realise you're not supposed to kill the dinosaur, you have to make it through the valley to escape.
Why is it that people don't get into this game ? It's not bad, it's much better than some of the other stuff that's out there. It's got story (I'll admit it focuses more on Turok's personal journey, his conflicting past, the soldiers of Whiskey company and the action more so than what the bad guys are trying to do on this planet).
But yeah, I thought it was great, very enjoyable and very intense game. I used to die so much, but I've really become a master at being Turok, it remains one of my favourite games I ever played and a shame the sequel was cancelled. :(
