you're not supposed to kill it. Slade even says "You can't hurt it, it's too tough." but then again he did call it a T-rex when infact it is clearly a Giganotosaurus http://planetdi.startlogic.com/dinosaur_list/images/giganotosaurus_tm. gif which is bigger and tougher, so it's understandable if casual players didn't take his word for it.

you're actually supposed to get past it. Anyway, the T-rex at the end, if you're stuck on that, well, use the damn shotgun flare and there are rocket-turrets in the area but DONOT stay on them too long she will get you cornered and DONOT miss obviously
