Mum's surprise (possible Spoiler)?

Making some sort of family in-joke about the xmas "turkey", Dad asks Mum why she's keeping the bags of meat (presumably human). She says it's for "a surprise" she's making. And she's seen, briefly, groping around a (tupperware?) box of what might be entrails... so what was the "surprise"??? What did I miss? And... poss. spoiler... the young man chained to the floor whom Lena attempts to calm down, and who obviously becomes the xmas "decoration" on the dining room wall... well, who exactly is he? Or, rather, was he? Where'd he come from? Another of Dad's expendable "friends"?

The bag of meat was kept for Dad sexual pleasure, we seen previously Dad masturbating with a piece of meat ( an organ perhaps) therefore we understand what really likes... Afterwards we see mum unpaking the bagged meat (Intestines I guess) a preparing the surprise for Dad, in the next scene we hear Dad moaning with delight and reaching the climax again is implicit is having sex with the human remains.
The poor boy that we saw on the floor was just another victim nothing more.

I thought the boy on the floor was hanging in their living room as jesus? He was still partially alive when the family got killed so Lema could of called for help and he could of been rescued!

Half of his stomach was cut out and melted with candle wax. I dont think there is much that the emergency services could have done to save him.
