Perfect apart from one thing (spoilers included)

Perfect movie apart from one thing, and that thing would make me not recommend it and possibly never want to rewatch it.

-> the ending. Had it been revealed that the water bottle didn't have an x on the lid and we were left with her smiling to camera -> then I would have given a little cheer and be recommending the film to all Leslie Bibb fans out there.

But to leave us in "not-knowing" land, well that just psd me right off. :grrr:

yeah I think it had the x on it and she did die.

I assumed she did die and the potentially LJ would be the one to fill her shoes (since he was the one to accidentally kill her).

The beginning, and i quote (though i may mess up....):

"For a long time, I'd walk into work convinced they all knew...they saw right through me. Me and my innocent act--which never used to be an act. It's who I really was! I would never do anything bad. Ever. I always imagined myself having a simple life: find a nice guy, settle down; live happily ever after. Who wou;d have thought looking for love would be so tricky? But like mom always said, 'Sara Jane, ambition will put you in an early grave...'"

And let's look at the ending since it's a continuation of the opening narrative

"Would I do things differently, knowing what I know now? Would St. George not have killed the dragon? I'd never be a Saint, but we can't start over. There is no past, there is no future, we only have now. 'The rest,' like mom always said, 'is karma, we get what we deserve.'"

And cue credits...

No, the movie doesn't show the lid, but she was ambitious, and she did kill people....karma? i think so.

i enjoyed the movie immensely.

I took away the same idea that she died in the end.

I had the impression she died, because the last scene, as I recall, had her moving backwards out the door, and you could see through her.
I agree that the sips of water she took wouldn't have been enough to kill her. She could have gone to the ER, and made up some story. They should have shown her drinking a whole glassful.
