american film with similar plot?

I saw this movie that started out similar to Daisy Chain - this couple move to a precariously-placed cottage in Ireland or Scotland and the woman is pregnant, but in this one she also has a teenage daughter. Then a mysterious younger girl shows up and in the end she drowns both of them, but they survive, but the "changeling" girl has stolen the woman's duaghter's body. The husband was someone famous but I can't remember who - Sean Bean or Daniel Craig or someone like that. Can anyone remember what this movie is called? Was it based on this movie? Similarities seem too close to me.
