It had potential however... *spoilers*

After watching it for 40 minutes I turned it off and debated watching the rest of it. for some reason I had to see how it ended. it was actually kinda interesting learning the motives behind the Serial killer's ritualistic killings. I could even forgive some of the familiar horror tropes and useless nudity and sex scenes. Then... the movie abruptly ends. leaving an open door for a sequel that will most likely never happen. Making the previous 82 minutes a complete waste of time.

I kind of understand why he did it. But what would've happened if he had completed the rituals?? would he be able to walk on water or what??

the one thing wrong with the nude scenes is Erin Foster [Morgan] was never in them. most of the kills really were hard to see and should not have been shot in the dark. i think James would have ended up with some supernatural powers making him un killable if the ritual had been completed

Yes... Brit was researching the Serial Killer's childhood home. She and her friends did not know James's brother was the killer until towards the end. He and his Brotherwanted to kill her because she was Pregnant which would somehow complete a ritual. (at the start the killer ties up a group of mental patients and sits them in chairs formed in a circle and stabs them to death before fleeing)

In the nick of time Britt is rescued by two Detectives but James and his Brother are nowhere to be seen. They wake up in a Car and it's implied they will continue to kill people to complete the ritual as the movie abruptly ends.
