I could see that happen. It's a little cheesy but still likely to happen.

However, if you're gonna have Village Roadshow Pictures distribute the film, Warner Bros. (not Disney) would be more likely to be a co-distributor.

Paramount did a Village Roadshow release once: Zoolander.

I'm sorry, but Emma Watson is way too old (as of 2012), unless you're making a movie about an adult WordGirl.

There are several young actresses out there of the appropriate age to play WordGirl (who to my reading of her is at least 8-10 years old.)

I'm not so sure if a live-action WordGirl theatrical film would work... I mean, an animated WordGirl theatrical film could work (and it could be released in 3D, as well as have WordGirl's monkey sidekick be able to talk), but a live-action film? Hmm...
